Lino Jubilado (he/him) @lino_jubilado  has been with Fly Fish Instruct since it’s creation in 2021.  Lino is an experienced Southern California fly angler and an avid fly tyer who lives, eats, and breathes all things fly fishing.

As an accomplished competitive angler, Lino has multiple bass tournament victories, big fish awards, and an American Bass Association, Angler of the Year title. Lino has experience catching everything from Tuna on the fly to small native rainbows and bluegill in local lakes, streams, and ponds.  His specialties include targeting carp in the LA River, large mouth bass in urban ponds and lakes, and a variety of surf species.

Professionally, Lino is currently employed as a school nurse. His education includes a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from USC and is a licensed vocational nurse.

Although not a guide, Lino has been very fortunate to have the opportunity to mentor and coach many great people to catch their first bass, carp, corbina, and many other species on the fly.
