The LIVE “Intro to Bass” Online Course is geared towards someone wanting to learn more about fly fishing for bass.  You will forever be changed when you open up  your world to fly fishing for warm water species.  This course will be a general overview of bass on the fly. 

We’ll start by going over the equipment recommendations. You can’t properly build a leader or choose a fly without understanding what the bass food sources are.  So, we’ll go through the diet of a bass and how to choose the right fly.  Next, we’ll share examples of different bass leaders and share a basic overview of bass water types.  We’ll spend some time on reading water and understanding structure, followed by the fishing approach and techniques for different types of water.  Finally we’ll have a conservation conversation and learn the proper way to safely hold bass and photography tips.  Bass is one of the greatest species to target on a fly and we’re excited to bring you this course.
